What is rural supplementary transportation?

The rural supplementary transportation is a complement to regular public transit routes if there are needs that cannot be met by public transit. Depending on the needs and resources available, Transcollines can offer different transportation solutions, either by using available space from other modes of transportation or by using volunteer drivers.

To allow the dispatch to offer you the solution best suited to your needs, transportation requests must be submitted by noon on the business day before to the service.

Admission

Who is eligible and for what purpose? The rural supplementary transport service is available to all residents of the Collines-de-l’Outaouais, without restriction as to the condition of the users or based on the reasons for travel. However, in a context where resources are limited, dispatch may have to prioritize to meet basic needs. For example, people who have no other transportation alternatives and require travel for health reasons will be prioritized.

This service is offered by Transcollines on the territory of the six (6) municipalities of the MRC des Collines-de-l’Outaouais: Cantley, Chelsea, L’Ange-Gardien, La Pêche, Pontiac and Val-des-Monts.
