Notice to users – Interurban transportation (route 148)
Interurban transportation connecting Isle-aux-Allumettes and Ottawa on the axis of route 148 will be temporarily offered on request as of April 6, 2020, until further notice. Thus, the service will be offered only if a request has been placed for this purpose. Reservations and cancellations must be sent no later than noon the working day preceding the service by phone at 819.456.1114 or 1.866.310.1114 (toll free) option 1 or by email at email@example.com.
In addition, as a preventive hygiene measure, users will no longer be able to pay in cash. Only credit, debit, Google Pay and Apple Pay will now be accepted and these must be handled by the users themselves.
The intercity transportation service between Isle-aux-Allumettes and Ottawa along Highway 148 is operated by J-Jacques Campeau Inc. with the support of Transcollines and their partners. Transcollines will contribute to maintain the existing service through logistical support and coordinating ticketing.
Fare payments are payable in cash (exact amount required) or made by credit cards (Visa and Mastercard) and by Interac and can be purchased at the following points of sale:
- on the bus;
- Transcollines’ office at 5 Principale West, La Pêche, 1.866.310.1114;
- MRC Pontiac office’s at 602 route 301, Campbell’s Bay.
