New Trip Planner

The new search module simplifies travel planning while centralizing access to all public transit services in the region. It combines in a single tool fixed routes, Transcollines On Demand (TOD), Transcollines’ paratransit service, as well as STO and OC Transpo services.

This system prioritizes the use of buses and facilitates transfers between the different transit networks in the area to offer you a smooth experience and to optimize our services.

New Booking Time

Good news for on-demand transit users: you can now book your ride just 1 hour in advance (instead of 2 hours)! Whether it’s for a last-minute appointment or a spontaneous outing, you can count on Transcollines.

New Online Ticketing System

You can now purchase and validate your transit passes for all our services (TOD and fixed routes) directly in the app.

Whether it’s for a single ride or a monthly pass, you can now buy your digital tickets in just a few clicks, then activate them before boarding to display on your screen and have them validated by the driver.

How to Activate and Validate Your Tickets When Boarding

Before boarding, the user must:

 

1. Select a ticket from their digital wallet.

2. Confirm the number of passengers for a single ride (passes are valid for one passenger by default).

3. Activate the ticket by sliding the validation button.

 

At boarding, the user must:

4. Show the active ticket screen to the driver and mention:

    • The ticket type being used “Single Ride” or “Pass” so the driver can validate the payment method on their tablet.
    • The number of passengers when using more than one ticket.

 

Transfert et correspondance

The user must press the “Transfer” button to activate the transfer to another vehicle. The ticket can be used for 2 hours for any on-demand transit (bus or taxi) trips made during that period.

Registration for the Transcollines On Demand (TOD)

To register for the Transcollines On Demand (TOD) service:

1. Go to the TOD section in the app.

2. Click on the hyperlink “Register for the service” in the blue bubble.

3. You will then be asked to send a piece of photo ID (recent) to the following address:
tadtranscollines@mrcdescollines.com to validate your account.

4. ou will receive a confirmation email within 48 business hours.

5. Once you receive this confirmation email, you will be able to start booking your trips.

 

 

Ticketing Registration

 

If you wish to use the online ticketing service, you must first accept the terms of use and then complete your registration.

 

 

Activating Reduced Fare Tickets

 

If you are eligible for student or senior fare tickets, you must first activate the corresponding profile before making your first purchase. To do this, please send your supporting documents (photo ID with date of birth or student card) to the following address: tadtranscollines@mrcdescollines.com. Processing your request may take up to 48 business hours.

 

Activating the Combined Fare

 

If you already have a physical combined fare card, please send us the card number or a photo of your card at: tadtranscollines@mrcdescollines.com, so we can add it to our system and enable online reloading.

 

If you do not yet have a physical card, you must contact us to request one. This card is required to validate your rides on STO and OC Transpo vehicles.
Send your request to: tadtranscollines@mrcdescollines.com.

 

Please allow 3 days for the activation of the combined fare in the ticketing system.

 

Once your card is received and registered, you will be able to purchase combined fare tickets online for future months without having to contact us again.

 

Good to know...

 

The system prioritizes the use of buses, and the algorithms are designed to optimize transit services within each region of the Outaouais.

As such:

Transcollines services will be prioritized within the territory of the MRC des Collines-de-l’Outaouais and of the MRC Pontiac

STO services will be prioritized within the City of Gatineau

OC Transpo services will be prioritized within the City of Ottawa

 


 

On-Demand Transit (TOD) is now integrated with fixed routes

 

As of June 30, 2025, on-demand transit (TOD) is fully integrated into the fixed-route service.

 

What does this mean for you?

 

Your TOD trips may be completed aboard a bus that also follows a fixed-route path.

A single trip can include a portion on a fixed route and a portion via TOD — all on the same vehicle.

Thanks to this new system, passenger capacity has been increased, allowing for better response to demand, especially during peak periods. de pointe.

 


 

Login on only one device at a time


For ticketing security reasons, it is no longer possible to use the same account on multiple devices simultaneously. This measure is intended to prevent more than one person from using the same digital transit pass.

Account creation only via the mobile app


New accounts can now only be created through the mobile application. If you do not have a mobile phone, please contact our customer service team, who can create an account for you.
